I have this section in my bullet journal titled, “New Things to Try.” I list anything and everything that I hear about or read about that may be worth my time like a new recipe, a fun podcast, a movie to see, a new blog to read, whatever. So, I thought I would share some of my recent finds with you. The only thing listed below that I have yet to try is sketch noting, which may be something I will incorporate in my bullet journal or commonplace book. I like the concept of sketch notes, though, especially since I am a “big idea” girl who often gets lost in the details.
Free Public Domain Audiobooks- We are just beginning to get into audiobooks, and this site is a great resource with over 9,000 catalogued works.
Sketchnotes-noting ideas, not every detail – Mike Rohdes is an interesting guy with creative and beautiful note taking skills.
Reading blog for families- great book lists!- I heard about this blog from The Read Aloud Revival podcast. There are great book suggestions here.
Wild & Free Instagram- beautiful photos and quotes– Homeschooling community with gorgeous sights and words.
Anne Bogel’s “What Should I Read Next?” podcast- I enjoy reading Anne Bogel’s (Modern Mrs. Darcy) blog, so when I heard about her new podcast I just had to give it a listen. She interviews people and hears about the books they love and hate and then gives them a suggested reading list. It’s fun!
